We use high-quality, plant-based ingredients from trusted Australian and (very few International) suppliers who meet strict quality and ethical standards. Whenever possible, we choose local, cold-pressed and sustainably harvested botanicals.

We use naturally derived ingredients and gentle, plant-based actives, balanced with modern, skin-safe ingredients where they improve performance and stability.

Some products include low levels of pure essential oils for scent and skin benefits. We never use synthetic fragrance or anything that overwhelms sensitive skin. Each product page lists full essential oil details so you can choose what’s right for you

Only the good stuff. We use natural preservatives (like tocopherol) and a tiny amount of eco-approved preservative where needed. No synthetic fragrance, no parabens, no silicones - just plant-based ingredients and a few nature-identical helpers to keep your skincare fresh and effective.

Our products are formulated to be gentle, but natural ingredients can still contain potential allergens. Each label and product page includes the full INCI list - if you have known sensitivities, please patch-test first.

Our formulas are designed with gentle, skin-supportive ingredients and are often well suited to sensitive and mature skin. We focus on barrier-friendly oils, calming botanicals, and thoughtful actives that support hydration, comfort and resilience.

That said, every skin is different. If you have highly reactive skin or known sensitivities, we always recommend patch testing before full use.

Yes. Our range is designed to complement actives - just use oils last in your routine to lock everything in. If your skin’s feeling a bit spicy, skip actives for the night and let Joni take over.

Our products are made for sensitive skin, but everyone’s different. Always patch-test first (inside of arm or behind ear for 24 hours). If redness or irritation occurs, discontinue use and feel free to let us know.

Cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight. If you’re up north or it’s a hot day, you can pop oils, mists or balms in the fridge - it won’t harm them.

Unopened, Joni products are stable for 18 months. Once opened, we recommend using within 12 months and storing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

We use a mix of glass, aluminium, and minimal plastics depending on the product - always chosen for safety, quality and accessibility. Our beautiful boxes are printed locally in Ballarat using responsibly sourced FSC-certified materials. Supporting local makers is important to us, and it keeps our footprint smaller too.

Yes. Glass bottles and aluminium can go straight into household recycling. Boxes can be flattened and recycled with paper and cardboard. Pumps and droppers may need to go into soft-plastic collection depending on your local council.
